We had lived in our home for over 25 years and knew our walkout basement could become a beautiful space but never imaged just how beautiful. After talking to a few contractors whom seemed indifferent as to whether they did the work, Silver was recommend to us. From our initial meeting we were struck by Silver’s engaging personality and desire to win the job.

 

Despite some unavoidable delays in starting the project as a result of Covid and permit approvals, Silver began work on the date agreed to and then worked incredibly long hours to maintain his schedule.

Because our project was a legal apartment, the approval and inspection was more demanding. Silver coordinated with the various inspectors and developed rapport so even that went smoothly. As a result, we are assured that that his work meets fire code, ESA and other standards.

 

I am exceptionally detailed myself and was concerned, as I am with any contractor I hire, that the workmanship wouldn’t meet my exacting standards. Silver has met and even exceeded this. Moreover, unlike most contractors his communication skills are excellent. We talked almost daily and he texted me prior to his arrival and departure, even when he stepped out to source supplies he often texted. His communitive and consultative style helped make the adjustments always required in renovations simple and with almost no extra’s.

 

This young man could be the next Bryan Baeumler or Mike Holmes of HGTV. His personality, passion for what he does, and attention to detail have made our renovation a delightful experience. The end product is a beautiful basement apartment for our daughter and granddaughter.

 

We will definitely welcome Silver back for any future renovation that we need – and recommend him to all others who ask.
